Our mission: Optimisation of the operational interior processes of FACC, a first tier Aerospace supplier based in Austria. Objective: Major increase of the A350 overhead bin compartment production rate to secure on time delivery to their client.FACC Operations is an international well known and respected Aerospace supplier. The product porfolio contains mainly parts made of fibre reinforced plastics. FACC develops and manufactures light but very resistant parts for the primary structure and for the cabin as well. The parallel ramp up of the A350 plus the production rate increase in Airbus' Single Aisle Programme is a major challenge for FACC, like for any other Aerospace supplier. In April 2016, foliofive has been asked to support the ramp up of the A350 Overhead Storage Compartment production. During six month of common work, we managed together to double the production rate of the single part production and finally reached the recovery in line with Airbus' industrial plan.
